About Judge Jennifer Peck
A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Judge Jennifer Peck grew up on Signal Mountain and graduated from The Baylor School.
She received her undergraduate degree from Auburn University and her Juris Doctor degree from Regent University before building a respected law practice focused on domestic relations, litigation and mediation.
In 2019, she was appointed to Governor Bill Lee’s administration, serving in key leadership roles including Deputy Commissioner, Chief of Staff and Chief Operating Officer for the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance. In this capacity, she oversaw departmental operations and critical statewide functions, including the Fire Prevention/State Fire Marshal’s Office, the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy (TLETA)/Peace Officer Standards Training (POST) Commission, and the Tennessee Emergency Communications Board (TECB). During this time, she also earned her Master of Business Administration from Tennessee Technological University.
On May 9, 2025, Peck achieved her longtime goal of becoming a judge when Governor Lee appointed her to the 11th Judicial Circuit Court in Hamilton County, where she has since served the community with integrity, fairness and a deep commitment to justice while upholding the law as intended by our state and federal legislators.
Judge Peck lives in Hixson with her husband, TJ, and enjoys frequent trips to Germantown to visit their son and daughter-in-law.
